What You'll Be Doing:
As our Senior receptionist / Practice Manager, you will be at the heart of our practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. From supporting a dedicated, caring team to delivering world-class patient experiences, your leadership will be key in maintaining Gleam Dentistry's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with Purpose: Manage a dynamic team of dental professionals and support staff, guiding them to perform at their best while maintaining a positive, caring environment.
- Drive Patient Satisfaction: Create and implement strategies that improve every patient's experience, making sure they feel valued and well cared for throughout their journey with us.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, including scheduling, patient flow, inventory management, and financial reporting 'keeping things organized and running smoothly.
- Foster Team Growth: Take charge of recruiting, training, and developing a talented team that shares Gleam Dentistry's values and mission.
- Innovate and Improve: Identify opportunities to enhance clinic performance, introduce new ideas, and streamline processes that help us better serve our patients and grow our practice.
- Maintain Compliance and Standards: Ensure the practice complies with all legal and regulatory requirements while upholding the highest standards in patient care and safety.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Previous practice management experience (dental or healthcare preferred, but not essential)
- A leadership mindset with the ability to inspire, motivate, and support a diverse team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - you're the one who finds solutions when things get challenging
- Experience with dental software is a plus (e.g., Exact, Oasis, Dental4Windows, etc.), but we're happy to train the right person
- Exceptional communication skills — you can connect with both the team and our patients, making everyone feel heard and valued
- A passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
