Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing, designing, and implementing efficient and effective information systems. Your expertise and problem-solving skills will contribute to optimising our business processes and ensuring smooth system operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in systems analysis, excellent analytical abilities, and a strong understanding of technology trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting requirement analysis and preparing specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
  • Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide IT solutions for internal and external clients
  • Providing training material and user manuals to users of new systems
  • Drawing up, supervising, and documenting testing schedules for complete systems
  • Planning and working flexibly to meet deadlines
  • Supporting users on change control and system updates
  • Meeting with multiple clients and key stakeholders
  • Creating project and costing reports
  • Developing financial project plans to support and lead the implementation of software solutions
  • Working with our clients to deploy system deliverables and train personnel across systems resources
  • Examining existing IT systems and business models
  • Analysing financial and marketing system requirements
  • Configuring automated processes using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand
  • Designing financial platforms and financial solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven organisation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights and system requirements
  • Proficiency in system analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as process modelling, data flow diagrams, and use case scenarios
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with databases, SQL, and data integration principles
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
