We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated team player who has an eye for detail and a drive to 'get it done'.

This role is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience in electrical design for HVAC/R systems, including control systems, power distribution, and system integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and validating electrical designs for chillers and heat pumps, supporting prototype builds, testing, and ensuring compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and electrical documentation within the company's PDM/PLM system.
  • Support the design, build, commissioning, and testing of chiller and heat pump prototypes, including electrical panel assembly and system wiring.
  • Perform electrical load calculations, component selection, and system-level integration of compressors, fans, pumps, and control hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, IEC 60204, UL , and other applicable electrical and safety standards.
  • Work closely with Controls Engineering, Product Management, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to integrate electrical systems into complete product designs.
  • Contribute to testing and troubleshooting during prototype validation and production release phases.
  • Provide electrical and instrumentation subject matter expertise to the Technology and Product Development team, and broader stakeholders.
  • Support additional tasks aligned with project and departmental needs.
