About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced In Home Care Educator to provide individualised care, supervision, and educational support to a 5-year-old child in the Bahrs Scrub area. This role is delivered in the child's home environment, with a strong focus on ensuring safety, wellbeing, and development.

Hours of Work

Week 1

  • Thursday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 pm – 3:00 am
  • Saturday: 8:00 pm – 3:00 am

Week 2

  • Wednesday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
  • Thursday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 pm – 3:00 am

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nurturing, safe, and responsive care tailored to the child's needs.
  • Implement individual care plans and create engaging educational/recreational activities.
  • Monitor and support the child's wellbeing and development.
  • Maintain accurate records and observations.

Essential Qualifications & Documentation

  • Certificate III (or higher) in Children's Services
  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Medical Clearance (fit to work with children)
  • Up-to-date Child Protection Training (refreshed every 12 months)
  • We will enrol you in the updated Child Protection Course 025 at no cost.
  • Australian Business Number (ABN) – Apply here
  • Valid Photo ID (Driver's Licence or Passport)
  • PRODA RA (Provider Digital Access Registration)
