Crushing & Screen Supervisor

About the Role

With a strong reputation for reliability, safety, and performance, Brisbane Civil is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Crushing & Screen Supervisor to take charge of site operations.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee daily crushing and screening activities, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll lead by example, supporting your team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise crushing and screening operations and personnel on site.
• Coordinate production schedules and ensure plant efficiency.
• Lead by example with a strong safety-first approach.
• Conduct inspections, identify maintenance requirements, and report issues.
• Liaise with management to optimise production and site performance.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and production records (incoming & outgoing of materials)

Typical Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience in the quarrying or crushing industry.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of crushing and screening equipment, with experience in mobile and fixed plant operations and maintenance being highly desirable.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate a team.
• Trade Background: A qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline is beneficial, especially for maintenance-focused roles.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills are essential.
