Fenner Conveyors, a Michelin Group Company, is a world leader in providing engineered conveyor solutions for the mining and industrial sectors. Operating 3 manufacturing sites, 23 Service Branches as well as Engineering Design & Fabrication facilities employing over 1200 employees.

Your New Team & Role

As our Manufacturing team continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator. This role, reporting to the National Quality Manager, forms part of our high performing Manufacturing team and is responsible for the supervision of quality assurance procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, analysis of pertinent data, provision of staff training, execution of quality audits, and the implementation of initiatives for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the quality of materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Ensuring that all procedures and products comply with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Analysing data from various sources throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Training new employees on proper work procedures and quality standards.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with quality regulations.
  • Supervising the implementation of quality control procedures.
  • Implementing strategies for continuous improvement in the quality process.
  • Establish and report production and process improvement metrics
  • Provide engineering and technical support to maintenance and production teams

About You

  • Knowledge and understanding of rubber compound processing and rubber conveyor products
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing industry
  • Advanced knowledge of QA/QC systems and Australian standards
  • Degree qualification in an Engineering discipline (Materials, Mechanical or Chemical engineering preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015
  • Unlimited Australian working rights
