Position: Café Manager

Location: Undurba State School, Ogg Road, Murrumba Downs 4503

Type: Casual– Term Time Employee (approximately 20 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity Managing a new Cafe means you have the chance to create something unique and reflective of your vision. You will be a part of setting the vibe and creating something that can evolve over time.

Responsibilities:

• Daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Manage café, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement menus that cater to the tastes and dietary needs of our school community.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
• Handle inventory management, ordering supplies, and managing budgets.
• Engage with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or feedback.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in café or restaurant management.
• Barista experience a must
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Passion for food and beverage service, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Working with Children Blue Card Holder or willing to obtain.
