About the role

As the Digital Platforms & Engagement Officer, you'll strengthen member engagement and visibility through effective use of Dietitians Australia's digital platforms and channels. You'll manage EDMs, newsletters, website UX and updates, Thrive and Share Plate activity, user journeys, and engagement reporting. This role also plays a key part in automating member communication pathways and supporting education marketing to drive course participation and revenue.

This is a 12-month full-time contract based in Canberra, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage EDM and newsletter builds, delivery, segmentation and reporting to ensure timely, brand-aligned communications.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of website UX, Thrive and Share Plate to ensure content is engaging, accurate and well-moderated.
  • Coordinate and publish website content updates, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Design and deliver automated communication journeys for onboarding, renewals, awards and education campaigns.
  • Support the promotion of CPD and Centre for Advanced Learning courses through digital campaigns and EDMs.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure campaign content is aligned across all digital channels.
  • Track and consolidate performance data across EDMs, website, Thrive and other content channels to inform insights and reporting.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance engagement, reach and return on investment.

About you

We're seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven communicator with experience in digital platforms and engagement. You'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing EDM tools, automation and analytics.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail across multiple projects.
  • The ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach and experience working across marketing, education, or membership functions.
