About the role
GrainCorp is seeking a Plant Operations Assistant for our Marian site, to assist the Production Manager with the operating activities of the production unit to achieve planned yields in accordance with the production schedule.
Take a 'hands-on' style and apply experience/skills in a best practice approach to plant operations including quality, the environment and asset management.
About your experience
Candidates will have prior experience in a production role in either FMCG, manufacturing, food production or a similar industry. Candidates will also demonstrate:
- Commitment to health and safety
- A proven background delivering product quality and plant efficiency.
- Communication skills
- PC, numeracy and literacy skills
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge
- Good problem solving and planning skills
- Valid forklift licence is highly beneficial
