Principal Energy Trader – Australia Power Markets

What You'll Do:
Build and manage a high-performance trading book focused on the Australian power markets. Design and implement trading strategies that optimize risk-reward dynamics while leveraging advanced market analysis and internal synergies.
Responsibilities:
- Formulating and executing trading gameplans in the Australian energy space.
- Owning all aspects of market analysis, risk deployment, and trade execution.
- Driving desk development and contributing to broader business growth.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams and external market participants.
- Expanding reach and impact within the Japanese and Australian energy sectors.
- Bringing insights on renewables to complement the team's capabilities.

About You:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Australian power trading or origination.

- Collaborative mindset with a focus on both strategic and tactical execution.
