We're a dynamic group of energy traders working together to optimize and secure maximum gross margin through participation in physical spot trading markets on the East and West Coasts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Optimize and secure maximum gross margin through participation in physical spot trading markets on the East and West Coasts.
  • Implement trading strategies in real time short-term power and gas markets.
  • Identify, assess, and manage commodity market risk exposures.
  • Maintain awareness of political and regulatory developments in relation to gas and power.
Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, commerce, mathematics, or relevant numerical based discipline.
  • Exposure to energy markets including the Australian physical electricity and gas markets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter attitude, attention to detail and commercial acumen.

You will be responsible for executing complex trading strategies in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Sydney office and provides you with the opportunity to work in one of today's most exciting industries.
