About the role
Sandgroper Contracting is seeking an experienced Industrial Services Operations Manager to join our team in Bunbury, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our industrial services division, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service to our valued clients in the mining, resources and energy sectors.
What you'll be doing
- Manage daily activities, scheduling/invoicing and providing direction whilst supporting the incoming reactive requests from various customers.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive continuous improvement and maximise productivity
- Manage a team of operators providing leadership, coaching and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Provide strategic input to the senior leadership team on operational matters
- Continuously review and improve operational processes and procedures
What we're looking for
- Significant experience (5+ years) in an Industrial services leadership role within the mining, resources or energy industries
- Demonstrated track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends if required and work with clients that need support in emergencies
