Terrigal, New South Wales, Australia Combined Demolition Services Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Combined Demolition Services (CDS) is a respected NSW-based demolition and asbestos removal company known for Safety, Sustainability, and Service.

We're a progressive, family-founded group expanding across residential, commercial, and government sectors, driven by quality and integrity.

As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a hands-on, motivated Project Manager who can lead operational delivery, ensure compliance, and uphold the highest standards of safety and performance across multiple sites.

The Opportunity

This role suits an experienced Project Manager with a background in demolition and asbestos removal who's ready to step up, take ownership, and grow with a leading team.

You'll oversee the full lifecycle of residential and small commercial demolition and asbestos projects — coordinating people, plant, and paperwork to ensure everything runs safely, efficiently, and to plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver demolition and asbestos projects (friable & non-friable)
  • Ensure strict WHS compliance, IMS documentation, and SafeWork notifications
  • Conduct site inspections, pre-starts, and toolbox meetings
  • Manage resources, plant, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships
  • Identify risks and improvement opportunities to enhance operations
  • Support estimating and administration teams with job updates and reporting

About You

You're organised, proactive, and safety-driven — someone who thrives on taking ownership and delivering results.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in demolition and asbestos project management or supervision
  • Friable and Non-Friable Asbestos Removal qualifications (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of SafeWork NSW requirements and WHS legislation
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple sites and teams
  • Current driver's licence

Desirable:

  • Asbestos or Demolition Supervisor Licence
  • Excavation experience
  • Experience using SiteDocs or similar WHS systems
  • Exposure to ISO or Integrated Management Systems (IMS)

Why Join CDS

  • Be part of a fast-growing, values-driven company with strong leadership
  • Career development and pathway to senior roles
  • Supportive, high-performing team environment
  • Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience)
  • Company vehicle and phone provided
  • Long-term growth and stability in a well-established group
