We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Steel Detailer to join our growing Team on a Full-time basis. This position is based Sydney and surrounds NSW.

The ideal Structural Steel Detailer is someone who will align with our goal to always strive to improve, involve and achieve greater results.

We are looking for a **Structural Steel Detailer **to join our team
- Conduct site visits to better understand client needs and obtain accurate measurements.
- Interpret plans, regulations and codes of practice and be able to lead and direct groups of steel fixers
- Coordinate works programs
- Liaise and communicate with clients, project managers, engineers and third parties to ensure required standards are met.
- Calculate costs and estimating time scales.
- Create detailed material lists and assembly lists for required structure.
- Assist Construction Managers, Builders and Engineers in planning and organization or scope of work.
- Perform routine computations and plotting preliminary programs, plans, designs.
- Produce conceptual plans and documents.
- Advise clients throughout the build, and manage the project in conjunction with other professionals.
- Travel to the different building sites and offices for meetings regularly.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Drafting or Equivalent.
- Current White Card
- Have a high understanding of the steel detailing plan interpretation.
- 3+ years of experience in related field, preferably within steel reinforcement services
- Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
- Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.

**Salary**: $51,902.52 - $103,641.77 per year
