About the role

Start your journey with Evolution and make a meaningful contribution to the company's Vision, Goals, and Values as a Graduate in People and Culture. This role is designed to help you gain a diverse range of experience and develop your skills within the People and Culture team. You will work alongside various departments, gaining exposure to both Group and site operations, and actively participate in supporting talent management, employee lifecycle activities, and organisational development.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting in the onboarding process, and offboarding procedures, ensuring consistency and alignment with Evolution's culture.
  • Supporting P&C reporting activities, including weekly, monthly, and trend reporting on various people-focused programs.
  • Contributing to inclusion awareness initiatives, learning management system support, and the coordination of the recognition program while assisting in ad-hoc P&C projects.

Throughout this graduate program, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in the People and Culture function, driving initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and organisational success.

About you

As a People and Culture Graduate at Evolution, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of the company's workforce. The role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in key areas of People and Culture, including talent acquisition, employee development, organisational initiatives, and much more. To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of qualifications, skills, and a proactive attitude to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. Your contributions will directly impact Evolution's goals of fostering a supportive, inclusive, and high-performance culture that aligns with the company's vision and values.

To be successful as a People and Culture Graduate at Evolution, you will likely have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, leadership, and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach with a keen interest in people management practices.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the People and Culture field, with a passion for fostering a positive work culture.
  • Manual Driver's License or the ability to obtain a manual driver's license before the program begins.
  • Commitment to Safety & Value is critical so a strong dedication to workplace health, safety, and security standards, as well as alignment with Evolution Mining's core values.
