About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Procurement Manager to lead a team of Procurement Specialists in delivering best-in-class procurement services. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation secures the goods, services, and facilities it needs—on time, at the right quality, and at the best total cost of ownership.

You will provide expert commercial advice, drive strategic procurement initiatives, and ensure the efficient delivery of procurement services aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of Procurement Specialists to deliver high-quality procurement outcomes services.
• Partner with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and improve commercial outcomes.
• Provide subject matter expertise in procurement, sourcing, and contract management processes.
• Apply category management principles to identify opportunities, manage risk, and drive value.
• Oversee sourcing activities from strategy development to contract award, ensuring governance and probity.
• Manage supply panel, supplier relationships, and contract performance to ensure value realisation and service excellence.
• Track and report on procurement benefits, value creation, and key performance indicators.

About You

• Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, ideally within complex or regulated environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Expertise in category management, sourcing, and contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Relevant qualifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g. CIPS) are desirable.
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies and advising at executive level.
• Skilled in reporting procurement outcomes to executive leadership and governance bodies
• 8+ years' experience in procurement category management and/or business partnering in a large complex organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector
