The Position
As a Mortgage Broker at Tiimely Home, you will bring your demonstrated industry exeprience and be passionate about leveraging technology to deliver exceptional customer service and tailored financial solutions for our customers. The role will suit a person who thrives in a dynamic, customer-first environment and is committed to achieving positive outcomes for every customer.
You'll guide customers through their home loan journey from initial enquiry to settlement, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience. You'll be backed by a collaborative team, covering ecommerce, marketing, operations, and lending specialists, giving you the tools and support to focus on what you do best: helping customers secure the right loan for their needs.
You'll use an innovative tool set and platform that streamlines the process, supports providing expert advice, and maintenance of strong relationships with customers, our aggregator (AFG), and a diverse panel of lenders. No two customers are the same, and your ability to listen, understand, and deliver tailored solutions will be key to your success.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the Broker Manager to grow the Tiimely Home business, working cross-functionally with other teams.
- Support customer acquisition initiatives aimed at increasing loan volume, product diversity and market visibility, while contributing to the refinement of marketing strategies.
- Guide customers through the home loan application journey, offering clear, empathetic support and timely responses to queries.
- Educate customers on using digital tools such as calculators and online resources to empower informed decision-making.
- Provide regular updates on application progress and assist with gathering required documentation.
- Ensure a smooth and timely settlement experience, offering proactive support throughout the process.
- Follow up post-settlement to gather feedback, seek all important customer reviews to strengthen relationships, and identify future opportunities from new and existing customers.
- Present all required regulatory documentation including credit guides and compliance paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Uphold high standards of transparency and regulatory compliance throughout the customer journey.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with panel lenders to enhance product offerings and secure competitive terms for clients.
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to deliver up-to-date, relevant solutions.
- Conduct regular home loan reviews with customers and follow-ups to identify opportunities for refinancing or product upgrades.
- Foster long-term customer satisfaction through exceptional service and proactive engagement.
- Encourage referrals and build a loyal customer base through consistent, high-quality support.
About You
We're looking for a proactive and dedicated individual with a passion for helping people achieve their homeownership dreams.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong personal drive to achieve above average results.
- Prior relevant experience (ie 2+ years) as a residential mortgage broker.
- Solid understanding of the home loan market and fulfilment process, including application, documentation, and settlement.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the mortgage industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and lenders.
- A customer-first attitude with the ability to deliver exceptional service at every touchpoint.
- Digital literacy with the ability to use online tools and platforms to enhance the customer experience.
- Excited about the opportunity to collaborate within the Tiimely Home team to build a successful Broker business.
- MFAA and AFCA Membership required.
- Holding a Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking would be highly desirable.
