About the role:
The Head of Sales – ANZ will lead the commercial strategy and execution across Australia and New Zealand, driving sustainable growth and expanding the organization's footprint in key markets. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, this senior leadership role will oversee a high-performing sales team, build strategic partnerships, and shape the go-to-market approach to ensure alignment with global objectives. The role will also play a critical part in leading sales transformation initiatives to enhance capability, processes, and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead sales transformation projects to improve efficiency, scalability, and client engagement.
- Coach, mentor, and lead the ANZ sales team to achieve performance goals and professional development milestones.
- Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, government agencies, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure a cohesive customer and brand experience.
- Analyse market trends, client insights, and performance data to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent the organization in key industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
- Forecast, budget, and report on regional sales performance to global leadership.
This is a strategic role where we need someone who has lead a sales team transformation and driven revenue growth.
Ideal background:
- Proven track record of senior sales leadership, ideally within professional development, education, or training industries.
- Extensive experience in sales strategy development and leading sales transformation programs.
- Strong commercial acumen and history of delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Experience managing distributed teams across multiple markets or regions.
- Deep understanding of consultative and solution-based selling approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or related field; postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
