ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for several reliable and hardworking cleaners to perform various cleaning duties within the Wollongong City Council Cleaning Contract commencing with Menzies from 1 February 2026.

Working hours are.

Monday to Friday at 9.00pm-12.00am

Saturday and Sunday at 9.00pm-12.00am

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Detailed cleans including offices, facilities & washrooms
  • Collection, segregation and disposal of waste
  • Spot cleaning, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming
  • Toilet, external areas and walkway cleaning
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Responding to scheduled and ad-hoc customer requests

Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

  • All applicants must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a police check and Working with Children Check as a condition of employment.
  • Applicants who are not Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents must provide proof of entitlement to work including any restrictions on hours of work.
  • Please apply indicating your availability and preference for casual/part time and the days/hours you will be available to work.
  • Drivers' licence and own transport desirable.
