Quarry Supervisor

We are looking for a Quarry Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations at Port Neill Quarry.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of quarry workers, ensuring efficient and safe production.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and quarry site to ensure safe, smooth operations.

Troubleshoot and carry out minor repairs on crushing and screening equipment as needed

Monitor and optimize quarry production processes, ensuring targets and product specifications are met while adhering to safety standards and environmental regulations.

Schedule and coordinate maintenance and major repairs as required

Identify and address potential hazards, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks

Maintain accurate records of production, safety incidents, and environmental impact.

Qualifications / Experience

Knowledge of crushing and screening equipment

Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.

Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.

Experience operating loaders and/or excavators

Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and best practices in quarry operations.

Qualifications in Quarry Management are desirable but not essential.

This role includes a company vehicle and mobile phone and is located at Port Lincoln / Tumby Bay / Port Neill.
