MR/HR driver required to undertake deliveries of Commercial Grade fridges and Vaccine fridges to the greater Brisbane area as well as occasional regional and interstate trips.

Meva Transport is a small family-owned company with branches in Queensland and New South Wales. We are currently seeking a new, long-term driver for our Yatala QLD branch.

The role involves the daily (Monday to Friday) deliveries and collections of commercial grade fridges to retail outlets and Vaccine fridges to chemists and doctor surgeries. The majority of the units are on wheels or pallets, with the vaccine fridges handled on a trolley. You will also assist in the warehouse when required by our Queensland Supervisor palletizing fridges, cleaning units ready for distribution and keeping the warehouse and yard tidy. In addition, we also do our own basic services to the trucks, maintain them in a clean condition with weekly washes and detailing.

This is role where every day is different, and customer service is paramount. We have a long and strong relationship with our customer ensuring ongoing work.

The successful applicant will need a minimum of 2 years experience (or at least held their truck license for 2 years), Manual Licence, a clean driving record, be physically fit and very customer focused. Excellent communication skills and strong written and verbal English skills.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Candidates must be capable of heavy lifting up to 50kg when handling commercial fridges.
