Join one of the world's largest property management, investment and development companies as a Property Accountant. 

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the intention of going permanent.

The Company:

Our client is of the worlds largest focussed real estate and development business, with offices globally.

They have incredible, state of the art offices in the heart of Sydney and boast a superb, high performing collaborative culture and working from home options. 

They are a business that is always looking to improve and as such boast best in class processes, systems and leadership.

Due to growth they are now looking for a Property Accountant to work in the Property finance arm of the business. 

The Role:

  • Prepare month-end reporting, including prepayments, accruals, IFRS adjustments, amortisation, and outgoings reconciliations.
  • Complete General Ledger reconciliations.
  • Reconcile statutory trust accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Deliver monthly P&L variance commentary and support the Asset & Property team in managing to budget/forecast.
  • Assist the Asset & Property team with capital expenditure tracking.
  • Prepare monthly owner remittances and PM fee forecasts/wash-ups for the assigned portfolio.
  • Support payment processing and vendor checks as needed.
  • Contribute to budget preparation, annual trust/property outgoings audits, and compliance requirements

About You:

  • Experience of Yardi (or similar system) in particular job costing
  • Experience within the property industry
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Assistant Accountant experience within the property industry strongly considered
  • Part qualified or intention to start CPA/CA strongly considered
  • Professional, results driven, strong work ethic and with high integrity
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated verbal, written and presentation skills
