ABOUT US
Our private allied health practice has been operating in Penrith for over 25 years. We work with a very diverse range of patients across the lifespan, under a range of funding arrangements including private fees, MBS, Workers Compensation, NDIS and other third-party stakeholder arrangements. Our team is friendly and supportive, our clients are lovely, and our practice environment is comfortable and convenient.
THE ROLE
Due to continued growth, we now seek a part time Senior reception / administration team member. Duties include patient intake and allocation, diary management, patient and third-party payments, handling and preparation of patient records, and use of an electronic records system.
THE JOB REQUIREMENTS
We seek an experienced, highly organised, independent and professional receptionist and office administrator. With a warm and friendly style, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience working in a professional, confidential environment (medical or allied health setting preferred), you will have high level skills in MS Office, at least one online diary system, supporting telehealth as well as face to face services in a changing environment. While not essential, some book-keeping or payroll experience (Xero) would be well-regarded for this role. The successful candidate will join a fabulous and growing organisation in a pivotal role, with high autonomy in the administrative tasks of the practice at an operational level, as well as contributing to ongoing business development as we continue to grow. You will work collaboratively with professional staff to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice. This role is 'hands on' and will require a problem solver who can think on their feet and handle some busy periods. Kindness and a sense of humour are essential, and experience working with vulnerable patients is an advantage.
