What you'll do
The Senior Manager - Digital Marketing Automation is responsible for leading Tabcorp's marketing automation strategy and execution across digital channels. This role drives customer engagement, lifecycle marketing, and campaign performance through data-driven, automated experiences. You'll be the strategic lead for marketing automation platforms, ensuring seamless integration, personalisation, and optimisation of customer journeys.
This role requires availability to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and lead the end-to-end strategy for digital marketing automation across email, SMS, push notifications, and other digital channels.
- Own and manage marketing automation platforms (e.g. Adobe Campaign Classic & Journey Optimizer), ensuring optimal configuration, performance, and scalability.
- Design and implement automated customer journeys that drive acquisition, retention, and reactivation, aligned with lifecycle stages and business goals.
- Leverage customer data to build dynamic segments and deliver personalised messaging at scale.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using insights to optimise content, timing, and targeting.
- Partner with CRM, Digital, Product, and Data teams to ensure automation efforts are aligned and integrated across the customer experience.
- Ensure all marketing automation activities comply with privacy, spam, and data regulations.
- Stay ahead of marketing automation trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve Tabcorp's capabilities.
- Project manage migrations and integrations of the CRM platform and supporting MarTech systems.
- Deliver regular reporting on campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI, with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and vendors, oversee spend, contracts, and external partnerships.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in leading digital marketing automation in a complex, data-rich environment.
- Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Braze).
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalisation.
- Analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing, performance tracking, and optimisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for innovation, automation, and customer-centric marketing.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance requirements in digital marketing.
