Position Overview

We are looking for people that are comfortable with change, take initiative, are accountable for their performance and can deliver the required outcomes for our clients and company alike.

About the Role

You will be required to coordinate and manage multiple projects at any one time. You will be able to work in a team with other project managers, engineers and admin alike, but can also work autonomously to deliver required outcomes.

Our clients are many and varied, which will mean you are comfortable managing a variety of project types and size, and being able to travel to client sites at times. You will have a client focus, with good commercial acumen, ensuring high quality service delivery backed by great customer service mannerisms and excellent documentation skills.

Time management and a willingness to interact with the client are critical to your success in the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing effective day to day management of projects – finance, schedule, resource management, client engagement and satisfaction while meeting company objectives
• Stakeholder management at all levels
• Assisting other project managers on projects as required
• Leading project initiation activities including development of project schedules, procurement and engagement management for clients and sub-contractors.
• Manage partners and subcontractor delivery to scope
• Maintaining risk, action, issue and dependency registers
• Coordinating change management and project variations
• Project administration and financial management
• Regular reporting on various metrics and progress measures for the company

What you bring to the role

• 5+ years experience in project management related roles
• Extensive experience in project delivery in communications/ICT project environments
• Strong planning, coordinating and time management skills
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Practical understanding of the Project Management Lifecycle and ability to implement
• Ability to create and maintain high quality documentation
• Proven ability to manage projects autonomously

• High commercial acumen in managing projects

• Ability to adapt to changing situations

• Strong outcomes focus – client and company
• Strong sense of accountability for your performance and actions
• Team player

Desirable skillset;

• A Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or relevant work experience
• Proven experience in delivery management in a technical environment years) and a strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices years)

This experience would be useful but not essential

• Familiarity with deploying DMR, Tetra, P25 along with two-way radio experience is highly desirable
• Project Management qualifications/certifications will be held in high regard

• This is an office-based role (located in Scoresby), requiring in person team interaction
