Knife Hand/Fillet Worker

We are currently looking for Knife Hands/Fillet Worker for our Client located in Prestons. This is a temp to perm role.

Hours: 2am or 3am start through to 10am or 11am, Monday to Friday (with possible Saturday shift 2am–8am)

Your duties:

• Boning and Slicing
• Trimming of meat products such as, Beef, Veal, Chicken etc
• General labouring on production line
• Packing meats
• Maintaining high hygiene standards throughout all processes
• Follow all OH&S procedures and policies

The successful candidates should have:

• Excellent disposition and eagerness to work
• A track record of success in the meat sector and an awareness of the standards for quality
• Experience in chicken filleting (no whole bird boning) only butterflying and trimming fillets, wings & Thighs
• Skills in preparing multi-species kebabs using skewer box
• Previous experience using a knife
• Capacity to handle the job's physical needs
• Ability to work in a cold environment
