Gator's Dockside Melbourne is looking for experienced line cooks to join our talented team. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our guest satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Line Cook Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauce
  • Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
  • Ability to navigate a KDS system
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to complete all opening and closing duties

Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
