Position Overview

We are seeking passionate Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Physiotherapists to join our team on a Casual to Part-time basis. This role offers exceptional flexibility, allowing you to structure your hours around other commitments while still making a meaningful impact in the lives of NDIS participants and our broader community clients.

You will provide high-quality, individualised interventions, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve participant goals and deliver positive outcomes in the community.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to community clients and NDIS participants, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of clinicians, including nurses and allied health assistants, to provide coordinated and holistic care.
  • Develop and implement personalised interventions, which may include:

  • Occupational Therapy: assistive technology, mobility aids, and environmental modifications. In school supports for clients, developing reports and programs for both individuals and AHAs to apply. Fostering successful environments for individuals and their goals.

  • Speech Pathology: communication and swallowing supports, language and speech development strategies.
  • Physiotherapy: mobility training, strength programs, and therapeutic exercises to improve functional outcomes.
  • Monitor and document participant progress, maintaining accurate records in line with NDSCare's quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in professional development through training, supervision, and team collaboration to continue building your expertise.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy).
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body (AHPRA or SPA as applicable).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
