Senior Project Officer RIEP - Targeted

About the role
Drive the delivery of the Regional Industry Education Partnerships (RIEP) program across the region. Develop project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate resources to ensure successful project outcomes. Build strong relationships with local employers, schools, and community organisations to enhance students' exposure to career pathways. Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement state-wide initiatives at a local level, ensuring consistency and quality in outcomes.
Given the nature of the role, which involves traveling between a group of schools within the local community, you will need a current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle. Work-related kilometres will be reimbursed in line with the departmental travel guidelines and policy.

About you
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
- Experience in managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Knowledge of career development principles or relevant projects preferred
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check) for paid employment
- Current driver's licence and a willingness to travel
