ABOUT THE ROLE

Right at Home is a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, committed to improving the quality of life for our clients we serve.

We are currently seeking applications for suitably qualified and experienced Support Workers in us on a casual basis throughout the Maleny - Witta region. Dementia experience highly regarded.

As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing tailored in-home support to your clients
  • Undertaking light gardening tasks (assisting with light weeding/pruning, watering of plants and gardens, sweeping and general maintenance of outdoor areas)
  • Assisting with meal preparation and planning
  • Providing transportation to appointments or shopping centres
  • Providing companionship care to the client within their own home or community

To be successful you must:

  • Hold relevant industry experience within Aged Care or Health field
  • Dementia experience highly regarded
  • A valid national criminal history/police check
  • Hold industry applicable licences (Working with Children)
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Open drivers licence and reliable insured (comprehensive) private transportation
