companionship, light personal care, and practical support for an elderly gentleman ( young at heart) in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane.

Contractor rate: from $40-$50 per hr depending on prior experience and mentoring

needs.

Future opportunities may be available with other MOJO Life Assist clients.

About the Role:

We're seeking a MOJO Life Assist Support Companion (Contractor) to join our friendly

team supporting an elderly gentleman (young in mind) — a lively, mentally astute man

who enjoys good conversation and values connection.

This role is about companionship, proactive common-sense care, and making everyday

life easier and brighter.

Responsibilities:

  • Friendly companionship and engaging conversation

  • Meal preparation and light household support

  • A small amount of personal care delivered with dignity and respect

  • Light stand-assists / transfers (training provided if needed)

  • Bringing empathy, patience, and proactive common sense to every shift

  • Collaborating with the established MOJO team to ensure smooth, consistent care

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Is kind, empathetic, and enjoys making a positive difference in someone's life

  • Values teamwork, collaboration, and clear communication

  • Is reliable, with practical judgment and a sense of humour

  • Optional: Nursing or healthcare experience is welcome for longer-term needs — but

not required.

The focus is on connection, empathy, and making a difference.

Current Available Shifts:

  • Fortnightly Saturday morning: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

  • Fortnightly Saturday afternoon: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm

  • Possibly Tuesday mornings: 7:00 am – 10:00 am and/or 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

  • Weekly Wednesday afternoon/evening: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm

  • (Additional hours may become available as needs evolve.)

Role Details:

  • Location: Western Suburbs of Brisbane

  • Contractor Rate: from $40 to $50 per hour depending on prior experience and

mentoring needs

  • Engagement: Contractor role — ABN and insurance required (we can help you get set up if you're new to contracting)

  • Future opportunities: Potential for additional shifts with other MOJO Life Assist clients
