THE ROLE
The Director, Orange Door is responsible for leading the operations of The Orange Door network across the East division of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
This Director role supervises the Hub Managers located across the East division to support the local operations of The Orange Door network and ensure this aligns with the approach to integrated practice as outlined in the Hub Service Model and the strategic vision of Family Safety Victoria
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Ensure the operations of The Orange Door across the state are consistent, and service responses improve outcomes for victim survivors of family violence, vulnerable children, young people and their families.
- Effectively represent the organisation's interests in high-level discussions and negotiations with state government departments, other jurisdictions, service providers and within the department.
- Provide authoritative, strategic advice and briefings in accordance with government policy directions to ministers, Family Safety Victoria's Deputy Secretary, senior management and external stakeholders
