Early Childhood Teacher – Busy Bees at Banksia Grove
Location: Banksia Grove, Perth, WA 6031
Licensed Capacity: 77 places
Salary Range: $41.88 – $57.94/hour (ECT scale, depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead our Service at Busy Bees Banksia Grove. This role is ideal for an experienced ECT with more than 1 year of experience, who is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that prepare children for their transition to school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a program aligned with the VEYLDF and EYLF
- Creating engaging, inclusive, and play-based learning environments for preschool children
- Documenting and assessing children's learning and development
- Building strong, collaborative partnerships with families, children, and colleagues
- Supporting the centre team to ensure high-quality outcomes in line with the NQF and VECTEA standards
What You'll Need
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
- Current VIT Registration (provisional or full)
- At least 1+ year experience
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF, and NQF
- WWCC ( working with Children Check ) for WA
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- A collaborative and professional approach to teaching and learning
