Margot Bar is positioned as a distinctive wine and espresso bar located on the lakeshore of Lake Burley Griffin.

With a laser focus on quality, fast espresso in the morning and a welcoming wine-sipping, cocktail slinging, pizza eating vibe in the afternoon (Friday to Sunday's), we're now looking for more friendly and vibrant bar professionals, wine lovers and pizza handlers to join the tight-knit but expanding crew

You'll work with a great bunch of crew, and enjoy one of the most prominent and picturesque locations in our city on a daily basis.

This intake is focused on staff who have previous experience with cocktails, wine and or making of food items such as pizza in a fast paced environment where customer service is paramount.

About the role:

  • This is a casual position, with flexible or set shifts available.
  • This is a small 'hole in the wall' style establishment, with a large outdoor seating area.
  • Weekend availability is a must for this round of applications.
  • You will need to have an interest in cocktails and wine.
  • Taking orders, greeting customers.
  • Making cocktails and serving drinks.
  • Pizza making skills is a bonus, but can be trained.

What we are after:

  • Previous experience in a bar environment required for this intake.
  • Someone who presents well, and loves working with people
  • A fun and energetic person who can represent our espresso and wine bar in a positive way
  • Someone who is detail orientated, great at communication, enjoys a busy environment and is able to juggle and reprioritise tasks as needed
  • Someone who enjoys being a part of a close, fun and supportive team
