The Role
Position: Graduate Interior Designer
Location: Capalaba, Brisbane
Hours: Choose from Monday–Thursday 7:00am–3:30pm or 9:00am–5:00pm, Friday 7:00am–1:30pm. 38-hour week overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

You will:

  • Draft and prepare detailed design plans for client presentation

  • Use SketchUp and CAD software to develop and visualise kitchen concepts

  • Learn and use Cabinet Vision & Vortex Spaces (training provided)

  • Understand construction and renovation limitations to ensure project viability

  • Work closely with the business owner to develop concepts and site-specific solutions

  • Help cost projects and coordinate trades to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Assist with client presentation packages and attend site visits where needed

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma of Interior Design (recent grads welcome)

  • Experience using SketchUp and CAD software (essential)

  • Attention to detail, initiative, and a genuine interest in learning all aspects of kitchen design and renovation

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

  • Confident computer skills and willingness to learn new design software

  • Strong portfolio showing creative thinking and technical ability

  • Reliable transport and a professional attitude

Bonus (but not essential):

  • Admin experience

  • Understanding of industry trends or past renovation experience
