First Steps Learning Academy Bangor is a privately owned Long Day Care Centre catering for 40 children per day, ranging from the 0-5 years. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Manager to lead the team.

As Centre Manager you will:

  • Be empowered to run a smooth and efficient centre operations for all children and their families
  • Be passionate about creating strong ties and relationships with families, local schools, businesses and surrounding networks.
  • Enjoy building connections with and engaging local communities.
  • Coach and guide a team of passionate educators to best practice and oversee and guide the highest quality of classroom curriculum
  • Ensure our Centre is always immaculately presently and that all internal and external play spaces are fresh, age appropriate and safe
  • Be accountable for key financial metrics including enrolments, occupancy and centre operating expenses.
  • Have a sound working knowledge of relevant industry regulations and legislation, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Lead a diverse team of passionate Educators and help make an impact on children and families during the early years

You will hold:

  • Prior experience as a Centre Manager is essential
  • Minimum Diploma Qualified
  • Early Childhood Teacher (Preferred)
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • Strong understanding of Regulation/Legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) essential
  • Strong team leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of OWNA desirable
