We are currently inviting applications for the position of Assistant Chaplain & Senior School Teacher.The purpose of this role is to facilitate and to further Christian ministry across the School with the Chaplaincy Team through their pastoral engagement with students. This Chaplaincy component is 0.5 full time equivalent (FTE), with an additional teaching load resulting in a FTE (negotiable) position.

We are seeking a professional, dedicated and dynamic Christian educator who is passionate about developing competent and confident learners. The successful applicant will need to hold teaching qualifications and have completed theological study. The position is permanent, part-time.

Applications should address the following criteria:

· Strong personal Christian faith and member of a Christian Church

· Appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation with NESA

· The ability to teach Stages 4, 5, 6 in relevant subject area

· A high standard of expertise and proficiency as a classroom teacher

· Completion of theological study

· Proven ability to manage competing tasks and work collaboratively within a team

· Demonstrated confidence in the use of technology

· A current Working with Children Clearance Number
