We are looking for an organised and friendly Club Administrator to join our busy and growing Club at our iconic location on Cable Beach IMMEDIATE START

Following our Clubhouse redevelopment and the Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment we are experiencing rapid growth within the Club, and we are expanding our team to ensure we meet the needs of our increased membership and customer base.

The Club Administrator role will be responsible for day-to-day administration and is the main point of contact for member, visitor and customer inquiries. Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Front desk reception for clubhouse visitors and contractors
  • Respond to phone, email and in-person inquiries
  • Inductions and set-up for day time function bookings
  • Process membership applications and maintain membership database
  • Merchandise sales and stocktakes
  • Attend and record minutes at monthly Board meetings
  • Other general administrative duties to assist the Club to operate efficiently and effectively

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration and customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and appropriate experience in accurately maintaining CRM databases
  • Current Police Clearance and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain this before commencing role)

This role is for a part-time position, 20-25 hours per week (salary pro rata), immediate start.

6 month fixed-term contract with expectation to extend.
