Yardperson with Forklift Licence – Modular Building Yard

Location: Bundamba, QLD

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 2:30pm

Type: Full-Time

Pay: Competitive hourly rate + ongoing work

Join a busy modular building company based in Bundamba and be part of a team delivering high-quality transportable buildings across SEQ. We're looking for a reliable Yardperson with a current Forklift (LF) Licence to support our operations.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the modular yard, supporting the team with safe movement of modular buildings and maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to move modular buildings and building components safely
  • General yard duties including clean-up, material handling, and basic maintenance
  • Assist with loading/unloading of trucks
  • Perform basic inspections and upkeep of yard equipment
  • Work with the site supervisor and trades team to maintain a safe and tidy work area
What We're Looking For
  • Current Forklift (LF) Licence – essential
  • Experience in yard or construction environments preferred
  • Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious
  • Good communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to reverse a trailer (can be taught)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
