Our flagship venue has undergone a transformative renaissance that will establish new benchmarks for sophisticated dining on the Gold Coast. This comprehensive renovation and expansion represents a complete reimagining of what the modern dining experience can be.

BABYMAMA NOBBY BEACH

The sophisticated "little sister" venue that captures Mamasan's essence in a more intimate setting. BabyMama represents our commitment to service without compromise—offering the same uncompromising standards in a space that is new, yet familiar.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Available Positions:

We are seeking exceptional individuals for roles across all levels, including:

• Chefs de Partie
• Senior Sous Chefs
• Junior Sous Chefs
• Prep Cooks

Senior Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily kitchen operations
• Ensure all food sending to the guests meets quality and presentation standards
• Control stock levels, ordering, and monitor food cost efficiency
• Supervise and develop kitchen team members through structured training and mentoring

Requirements: Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a commercial kitchen

Chef de Partie

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee assigned section, ensuring consistency and accuracy in preparation
• Maintain mise en place and readiness for every service period
• Adhere strictly to hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP)
• Support the team through efficient communication and accountability

Requirements: Minimum 4 years of hands-on kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment

Commis Chef

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily preparation tasks as instructed by senior chefs
• Maintain a clean, well-organised, and safe workstation at all times
• Follow recipes and plating instructions with precision
• Comply with all hygiene and safety standards without exception

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience; basic technical knowledge required

Prep Cook

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily preparation tasks as instructed by senior chefs
• Coordinate excellent quality throughout all food offerings
• Follow recipes and plating instructions with precision
• Comply with all hygiene and safety standards without exception

Requirements: Commercial cookery qualification, Kitchen experience; basic technical knowledge required

We seek passionate, driven kitchen professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Creativity, dedication to quality, and a genuine love for food are a must. Experience in Asian cuisine is a bonus, but not essential. Attention to detail, the ability to perform under pressure.
