Café All-Rounder – Arthur's Pantry | Cessnock, NSW
Arthur's Pantry is on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Café Barista/Floor Staff member to join our busy café in Cessnock. This is a casual position, with part-time or full-time opportunities available for the right candidate.

We work with premium equipment including a La Marzocco KB90, Mazzer Robur S, Mahlkönig EK43, and Caffe Assist system, paired with the Kounta (Lightspeed) POS platform to deliver smooth, efficient service.
Key Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and beverages
- Provide warm, genuine, and professional customer service
- Take orders, process payments, and manage busy service periods confidently
- Run food and drinks, maintain table service, and ensure a positive guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all front-of-house areas
- Support daily café operations including restocking, opening, and closing tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy café or restaurant environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Confident using Kounta (Lightspeed) POS system
- Willingness to learn Kounta (Lightspeed) POS system on the job
- Solid barista skills and understanding of coffee preparation standards
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Positive attitude, reliability, and passion for hospitality
- Must have valid Australian work rights
