About the Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a physiotherapist to join the Macarthur Transitional Aged Care Program based at Camden Hospital.

TACP is a short-term, goal orientated program that provides therapy and support to aged care, community clients recently discharged from hospital. The physiotherapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing timely and evidence-based intervention.

The position is well supported by senior physiotherapists with access to relevant professional development opportunities.

What You'll be Doing

To provide professional and high quality physiotherapy services to patients in SWSLHD. This includes clinical duties (assessment, treatment and education) and participation in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching and other relevant departmental activities and administrative duties.

Where You'll Be Working

SWSLHD Primary & Community Health provides a comprehensive range of community-based services designed to improve and maintain the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities across South Western Sydney.

These services include prevention, early intervention, assessment, acute and post-acute treatment, health maintenance, and continuing care. The team supports diverse populations, offering specialised programs for children, young people, older adults, and at-risk communities.

With over 800 dedicated staff, including Aboriginal Health Workers, nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, the service ensures high-quality care close to where people live.

  1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
