Contract Administrator

Position Purpose
The Contract Administrator will support the delivery of steel fabrication projects up to $10M by administering contracts, managing procurement, and ensuring compliance with contractual and financial requirements. This role ensures projects run efficiently by providing timely and accurate contract management support to Project Managers and the broader team.
Key Responsibilities
· Administer contracts, variations, progress claims, and purchase orders.
· Assist Project Managers with tendering, procurement, and contract negotiations.
· Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow forecasts.
· Maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
· Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
· Support compliance with WHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
· Provide reporting and analysis to management as required.
Qualifications and Experience
· Minimum 3 years' experience in contract administration within steel fabrication, construction, or heavy engineering.
· Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred but not essential.
· Strong working knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and financial tracking.
· Proficiency with contract management software, MS Office, and ERP systems.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
