About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Technician Support to support activities across both our Research & Development (R&D) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team working in the pharmaceutical  manufacturing sector.

The successful candidate will work flexibly across both sites, supporting day-to-day GMP facility/R&D laboratory operations,  equipment maintenance, and documentation in line with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

·       Work across between the two sites as required.

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised laboratory environment.

·       Follow SOPs, Work Order and Health & Safety Procedures

·       Accurately maintain GMP & R&D documentation.

·       Assist with inventory control and ordering of laboratory supplies.

·       Support R&D scientists by preparing reagents, buffers, and standard solutions according to SOPs, and by managing laboratory consumables.

·       Assist the GMP production team during manufacturing activities by operating machines as required (e.g. tube sealing machine, propellant filling machine).

·       Assist with equipment maintenance for two sites as required.

·       Follow GMP procedures for equipment use, cleaning, and documentation.

Key Requirements

·       Willingness to work across two sites (travel between locations may be required based on demand)

·       Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

·       Ability to work collaboratively as a part of team

·       Basic computer skills with great understanding of Excel and other Microsoft office applications

·       TAFE qualifications (or equivalent training) preferred; a science background or relevant chemistry certification are a plus.

·       Prior training in GMP, strong awareness of compliance and safety standards are a plus.

·       Able to work at both our sites - Camperdown and Macquarie park (2113)

Desirable but no essential

·       Understanding of project management tools (Clickups) and quality management system (ACEqms) are a plus.

·       Previous experience in a GMP environment or pharmaceutical/biotech industry is highly desirable.

·       Familiarity with cleanroom procedures

·       Knowledge of regulatory standards (PIC/s guide,FDA, ISO and NATA)
