Tender Writer

A higher education sector client is seeking an experienced Specialist Bid & Tender Writer (part-time)to provide high-level support in developing compelling, strategically aligned submissions that secure funding and partnership opportunities to advance their growth strategy.

Part-time - 3 days/week

Canberra based - Fully Remote considered4 month contractCompetitive daily rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of high-quality tenders, proposals, EOIs, and funding submissions aligned with the client's strategic direction.
• Translate complex policy and education objectives into persuasive, outcomes-focused written content tailored for government and industry audiences.
• Coordinate the end-to-end submission process, ensuring compliance, clarity, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate across internal teams to gather and refine proposal content.
• Build and maintain a repository of reusable proposal material to enhance future efficiency.

Essential Experience:

• Demonstrated experience preparing successful tenders, bids, or funding submissions in education, training, or government contexts.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and professional content.
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of ACT and/or Commonwealth Government procurement and funding processes.
• The ability to work independently with initiative, while fostering strong collaborative relationships.
