Operations and Quality Services Manager

Orana House has been providing accommodation, advocacy and wrap around holistic support services to women and children experiencing family and domestic violence for over 35 years. We are a well-known and highly regarded service based in the northern suburbs of Perth.

The organisation has grown considerably in recent years and has undertaken a recent restructure to better support our current staff and programs. In order to achieve this, we are now seeking a highly qualified and skilled professional to undertake the role of Operations and Quality Services Manager.

This position will lead and oversee the organisation's programs and provide high level professional supervision and support to Orana's service delivery teams, ensuring quality, safe and high-level service delivery as well as driving continual innovation and growth to meet changing needs.

The position is part of the Orana leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role contributes to the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring that service delivery is FDV and trauma informed, client focused, culturally safe and strengths-based and that the staff are skilled and confident in performing in their roles.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced manager with a passion to support and advocate for the needs of women and children who have experienced family and domestic violence. It is anticipated that the role will be fulltime however this can be negotiated, and will work across our 3 sites in the City of Bayswater.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate:

· Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related fields and demonstrated experience in working with women and children victim/survivors of family and domestic violence or similar

· years senior or management experience within a family and domestic violence service (or similar) that includes people management and direct client service delivery.

· Current demonstrated experience and sound understanding of professional supervision practices and best practice principles when providing staff support and management

· Sound theoretical practice based on best practice within a Child Safe Organisation

· Knowledge, skills and experience of various therapeutic interventions relevant to working with victim survivors of family and domestic violence that aim to break the cycle of violence for adults, children and young people and enhance recovery and healing

· Extensive knowledge and experience of providing services that are trauma informed, culturally safe and strengths-based

· Demonstrated knowledge and experience of contemporary case management principles

· Strong management and leadership skills and demonstrated experience of building and maintaining effective multi-disciplinary teams

· Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands in a high-volume work environment

· Highly developed skills in communication, negotiation and conflict resolution

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

· Demonstrated experience of liaising with external agencies and stakeholders

· Ability to support change in an organisation to keep it developing and improving

· Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office applications and specialist databases

· High level of written and oral communication and report writing skills

· Availability to be on an on-call roster

· Current Police and Working with Children Clearances

· Current WA Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate
