Position Summary:

All Seasons Motel is seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with motel standards
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures
  • Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues or damages to management
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly
  • Provide friendly and respectful service to guests if approached during duties
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times
Requirements:
  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and on short notice
  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Working Conditions:
  • Casual position with variable hours based on occupancy and demand
  • Must be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
