An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to join the Infection Management Services Team. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and motivated Clinical Nurse (CN) to our Infection Management Service (IMS) team. This is an exciting opportunity for a CN who is passionate about infection prevention and control, clinical excellence and healthcare innovation.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Conducting infection surveillance and managing disease transmission
- Enhancing workforce well-being through the prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases
- Support patient safety and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Temporary Part time position for 6 months
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $ p.a., comprising salary rates: $ $58.30 p.h.employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NG temporary position available for six months, 64 hrs p.f.).
