A well-established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead its operations team and drive performance.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of production activities, ensuring targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance technical know-how with excellent organisational and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all production operations to meet output and quality goals
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled operators and supervisors
  • Plan and schedule resources to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives across processes and performance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

About You

  • Strong mechanical or technical understanding – ideally with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communicator who leads by example and builds strong team culture
  • Results-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
