About the Role

Reporting to the HR Superintendent the Administration Assistant - Commercial works part of a small team with a focus on providing effective administrative support to the Commercial team at Premier Coal. The Administration Assistant is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Management of invoices and purchase orders for mining labour hire provider
  • Generate weekly unmatched invoice report and investigate discrepancies
  • Update and issue reports on site to stakeholders following the end of each month
  • Maintain an electronic filing system of commercial related documents
  • Convert monthly forecasts to a daily forecast and coordinate the uploading into the system
  • Analyse trends in commercial and warehouse expenditure
  • Assist with the processing of accrual journals for each month end
  • Provide temporarily leave coverage for other Administration Assistants as required

About You

  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite particular Excel
  • Quick learner and able to adapt with new computer programs
  • Display professional behaviour incorporating a willingness to assist attitude
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Prior administration experience (essential)
  • Prior administration experience in banking or commercial environment (desirable)
